I am trying to fix my moms 99 tahoe sport 2 door with i believe the 5.7 vortec engine because for about the last month there has been a hesitaion between 5-10 mph when you first take off from a stop. I have cleaned the MAF sensor and the throttle body and put a new air filter and the plugs and wires were replaced less than 20000 miles ago.

so my questions are:
Is there a simple fix for this problem?
Could it be a bad Cat-converter?
or could it just be the tranny is getting old? 97000 miles on the tranny and engine.

Possibly fuel pump.
