I had to replace the transfer case on the wifes 99 Tahoe 350/4L60E/4wd (4 push button with auto 4wd).
Can I just use the shfit encoder motor on the new transfer case by just hooking it up or do I need to have it programmed to work with my vehicle?

I still have the original (toasted) transfer case and could take the old shift motor and put it on the new case if needed.
