Default ABS Traction Stability Issue

I've been chasing a ABS issue in my new to me 2006 Z71 Suburban. The ABS and Traction Control lights are on the dash. I read the code when I bought the truck and it was a c0035, so I replaced the front left speed sensor since it was only $33 on rockauto. That didn't seem to correct my lights but the ABS quit coming on at low speed. I read the codes again yesterday and in addition to the c0035 was a c0110. So I cleared the codes and drove to work. The truck wouldn't come out of first leaving the driveway, then the lights came on and it was business as usual. I checked the codes when I pulled in at work and I just have the c0035 code. Could the EBCM be the issue here? I have checked both from wheel bearings and felt no slop. I also cleaned the sensor mating surface before installing the new one. The odd thing about the ABS sensor install was the ring was covered in what looked like nice fresh maybe blue bearing grease, is this normal?

*Bump*

Cleared the codes and all im getting now is the C0035 for the front left ABS sensor now. But I have already replaced that sensor. Are there other common causes for this code? Again I have checked wheel bearing and they seem tight. If I reset the code, it comes back immediately once it tries to shift out of 1st gear.
