Hey guys, My AC compressor on my 01 Tahoe seems to have died.
pricing around they can be rather expensive.
Ive read alot of parts from the 6.0 liter is interchangable ? I searched online but im not seeing alot of good info, some say yes, some say no.
My Tahoe is an 01 with a 5.3
the AC compressor I can get is an 01 2500 Truck 6.0 liter

Can anyone confirm if this parts will swap or not ?
Id hate to do the work for nothing and I would really not spend the money for a new unit.

I can't imagine why it would be any different. Just make sure you vac out the lines really good before filling up with R134a

go to gm parts direct. if they list the same part number then, its fine.
