My son changed radio in my 96 suburban & now a/c won't work. Only Hot air Blowing & only window defroster works. Hope Some one can help me.

I'd be my guess that the blend door actuator motor got knocked loose or the control wiring is not connected... may also want to check all fuses as something could have been shorted....
If any of the wiring was cut to access power it could be a wire pulled back out of a connector...
Need to check the wiring under the dash and retrace all the areas touched during the install.... something is loose,cut, shorted or blown or binding....

Is the compressor coming on when the AC is turned on?

 

no compressor not coming on for a/c nor are the lights for a/c

 

Need to check all fuses and also check the wiring to the HVAC control panel/buttons somethings been pulled loose or cut or has lost power

 

k tks will continue to ck have ckd fuses & pulled radio & a/c heater control out again & still can't find,but try try again
