Default Adding OEM Navigation - Questions

I have a 2007 Suburban with factory BOSE / DVD with the rear monitor option.

It has a remote for controlling the DVD which is great because I can let my kids control the unit while my wife and I talk.

I notice GMPARTSONLINE on eBay has factory Nav units which I would like to have on my suburban as I also want to install a rear camera.

Question #1 - Does anyone know if the factory remote would still work?

Question #2 - To add the rear-view camera I would like to add the FACTORY camera, I see a few units on Ebay, is it safe to assume the wires are already present in the tailgate and would just need to have the camera hooked up?

The Suburban already has the rear parking sensor system...

Any help would be appreciated....

Man ,for $150/$250 you can buy a Garmin or Tom Tom which is 10 times better than the OEM NAv system. I have both and only have the OEM because it was in the truck when I bought it. Ditto for Onstar and XM. They could save a lot of money per unit if they would leave that troublesome crap of their vehicles.

Pretty sure the wiring for the rear camera is not there. The Nav should not affect the RSE remote.

JIMJ - Yeah, the more I think about it the more I agree a Garmin or TomTom would be a better option. I really wanted the OEM Nav as I think it looks sleeker but I could gain bluetooth phone capability by using a good GPS.

Another option is the ROSEN unit but thats a bit expensive

you can also check if other after market ones will fit, and look good...
