Default Service ride control

I just bought a 2002 Chevy Tahoe LT and it has been running great. I got in it tonight backed out of my driveway and the service ride control came on. It has been auto leveling just fine since I bought it, you can hear it. I am wondering could it just be a fuse or should I take it in to see if the compressor is shot. Help.

Welcome to the forum.

Does the compressor shut off after a few seconds?

Default service ride control

Well I would say it goes for a while maybe a minute at the most when it levels, but since the message has come on it does not auto level at all so I am wondering if the fuse could just be bad, it still rides really smooth
