Default Speed limiter - HELP !

Here is the thing.

I shipped 2009 burb LT for my brother over the sea and he just called me, that he can't drive faster than 100Mph (160 km/h).

He asked me, how to bypass it or what to do to get top speed.

Thx

Not sure why one would want to drive a three ton truck over a 100 mph but it will take a programmer to raise it.

while u will live in EU and drive on unlimited autobahn, u will understand

Most of EU countries got 160km/h speed limit (100 mph) and feeling, that 100 is max, u can get from your over 330 horses V8 is very sad

Most of EU cars are limited up to 250km/h.

But, thx for reply. Ill check some programer.

But are the tires rated for more then 90mph / 145kph sustained on the Tahoe?
The Speed limit here is Texas is 80mph about to 85mph if the law passes and I tell you what my 07 Tahoe gets pretty lite at that speed, and a cross wind on I-10 at that speed could be challenging to say the least....

I've had mine at 100 once and it wouldn't matter what the speed limit was, I wouldn't go there again, Autobahn not withstanding. If I want to go that fast, I'll do it in the Corvette. Just cuz the limit is higher doesn't make the Tahoe something you necessarily want to take there. But it's your truck and life . . .

every truck selling in EU is not speed limited.

About the tires, u can get tires rated for higher speed.

I was doing 100 on my burb with no problem. Yes, i have low profile tires 305x45.

Problem is, that too many ppl dont understand, that u gotta get, what did u paid for It;s my car, my horses

Thx anyway
