What is involved in adding steering wheel controls? got a 04 Tahoe and wanting to ad this option. I keep reading that you have to do something with the S.I.R. coil? Any truth to that?If any1 here has added this option to there Tahoe please explain the process. thanks! Shannon

I dont know much, but I would think this would be a challege. You might need a different wheel, radio, and obviously other parts and pieces. I dont know the answer, but I can tell you it isnt going to be very easy.

 

Sell it and replace it with a Tahoe that has the radio controls.

This may not be the answer that you are looking for but trust me; it is good advice.
