Default adjustable pedals stuck in most forward position

My brake pedal is stuck on the most forward position on my 07 Tahoe, I can hear the relays click once you press the switch to move the pedals forward or back towards the firewall but pedal doesnt move. Any do it yourself suggestions? Maybe its a electric motor issue? Thanks for the help in advance!

You might try assisting the motor by pulling on the pedals to see if it's just hung up or weak.

I tried mashing the pedal as hard as I could while pushing the button to move the pedals towards the floorboard. No luck. My Tahoe has about 3 things nagging to be fixed now, the pedal adjustment, passenger sideview mirror needs new actuator, and drivers lumbar is kaput. ARRGH! lol!

that is the bad thing about vehicles now with all the electronic "stuff". the pedals on our Tahoe sound like they are about to quit working when we move them so we just leave them as is
