Advice on buying used Tahoe/Suburban (1999-2003ish)
Hello,
Looking to buy a third vehicle for my family. Tahoe's and Suburbans around 1999-2003 and with 100k-150k miles are in my price range. This will not be a daily driver. It will be used to haul lumber and home supplies, and tow the pontoon boat with plan on buying next year. Estimated 10k miles per year or less.
Are there engines/years/models I should avoid? Any specific issues to have my mechanic check on before buying? I am also considering a Ford Expedition of similar year/miles. If anyone has experience with both, that would be great.
