Default air Intake to get?

I have a 2003 Tahoe and wanted to know what air intake to get. AEM, K&N, and etc?

Right now I am leaning towards the AEM because I found a great deal online for it.

Looking to purchase this week so please give me your feedback quickly....thanks!

I had the AEM Brute force CAI on my 02 and loved the look and sound. It also freed up some nice low end power.

I just installed an Airaid system on Sunday. It has a nice sound, and a bit more power. The MPG gain/loss is too soon to tell. I installed it in less than an hour, and it is idiot-proof.

Just installed the Airaid (tube only) yesterday. Like FriscoKid, it's too soon to see any mpg gain, but that's not the goal. I have a K&N system (tube, box, filter) that was on for abot 1500 miles. A little too loud for my taste. The Airaid is quieter, but not much.

The K&N is for sale, at a good price, if you are interested. Let me know. It's just sitting in the garage.

This is a question related to the 2007 tahoes and CAI. How much louder are the open filters on the 5.3 engine?

Does anyone know how loud they open aftermarket filters like airaid, k&n, aem are compared to the enclosed volant?

I dont really want louder. The wife hates it.
