Default Alarm securtiy Fob key

I bought 2002 Tahoe on 2010 was installed with after market security alarm I used that for long time until both remotes went bad so I decided to removed after market system and I reconnect original wires back to security module and I start using original fob keys work okay but my Question is if I unlock the door with the key not with fob and open the door horn doesn't go off and the vehicle crank and start normal and I drive normal , is that normal ? my understanding is if we don't use fob key to unlock the door vehicle should not start and horn should go off please advice thank you and yes yellow security light working blinking and if i manually unlock the door from inside and I open the door horn goes off

Yikes. Would it kill ya to throw the odd period into your gigantic wall of text?

If you returned the truck to factory wiring then no you don't need to use the remote.
