Default am/fm/cd/dvd/mp3

If you have this type of radio in your 07 Tahoe...In the manual it says there is a slot for the CD and a slot for the DVD. I only see one slot. Is there one that is hidden? Our dealersays there is one behind the screen, but I don't see how that is possible. He himself couldn't figure out how to get to it, but insist there is one. We need help because I'm tired of tryng to figure it out.

Instructions from Nav manual.

Installing the Map DVD
When your vehicle is delivered from the factory,
the dealer may have installed the map DVD. If the
map DVD was not installed, use the following
directions to load it:
Read the following steps completely before
operating this feature.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press the O(power) **** to turn the
navigation system on.
3. Touch the OK screen button to agree to the
Caution screen.
4. Touch the Insert Map Disc screen button. The
screen will tilt to access the map DVD slot.
5. Load the map DVD partway into the slot. The
system will pull it in.
6. Once the map DVD is loaded, touch the
Close screen button. The screen will close.

Thanks davemec for the much needed information. I will try this after work today. Now it makes sense as to whatthe dealer was trying to inform me.

the "visible" drive will play both cd and dvd formats. The drive behind the screen can only be used for the DVD navigation.
If you are not prompted as suggested above, I believe you can tilt the screen to gain access via the MENU button, in the NAV section.
hope this helps

This only applies to the Navigation radio. If you have the am/fm/cd/dvd/mp3 with Rear Seat Entertainment (no NAV) then it's front display does not fold down.
