Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Am I crazy buying an 05 1500 Suburban with 283K on It ?

Just bought an 05 Suburban 1500 LS 4x4with 283k on it. The body, paint, and interior is mint. The truck had a new GM factory trans at 190K. The motor runs perfect. The only thing I see it needs is rear brakes and the front wheel bearings and hubs on both sides. They make a little noise and the wheel wobbles a little when you jack the truck up and wiggle the wheels side to side. Other than that the truck is mint for the mileage. I bought it from the original owner and the car fax is clean. The guy was an **** engineer who kept everything he has mint. He drove to work 180 miles round trip everyday from South Jersey up the parkway to the NY border. the back seats and third row look like no one ever sat in it.I paid 5000k. there is no evidence he ever towed anything and said he never did.I think its very fair deal. What do you guys think ? Anything I should watch out for ? Thanks and I look forward to your replies guys n gals.

ya she's mint as mint can be for that mileage. If I didnt tell you how many it has and you saw it and drove it you'd guess under 100 k for sure
