The one thing that seems a bit cheesy on my 07 Suburban LTZ is the fake wood trim. I'm not a fan of wood trim anyway, but my $55K Benz could swing it, why can't I get real wood in a $55K Chevy? I saw somebody mention some replacement aluminum trim from JP Customs. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but I guess the market is a bit limited, too.

Before I spend the cash, does anybody have any good, clear photos of this stuff installed, by any chance? I'm posting here because I think the Tahoe is the same as the Barn in this respect, and obviously this area is a lot more active.

If there is one thing that I dont like (probably the only thing), is that the aluminum shows fingerprints quite easily...nothing that a good cleaning doesnt take care of...
If you are looking for a specific picture (angle, etc), let me know

Justbought my 07 LTZ and Ireally don't like the wood look...the pictures above are great! Here's the kit at JP Customs for $499. Hmmm maybe I'll wait until I beat up the wood finish first.

I "upgraded" the trim to aluminium in my Tahoe when I first got it. Everytning but the steering wheel.

All the part numbers are listed there. Your local parts department can get you a price. Sometimes they will discount the price if you bought your Tahoe from them. Never hurts to ask.
