Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Default Anybody add a leaf spring or helper springs to aid in towing?

I picked up my 2005 Suburban Z71 back in April and towed my 28' 5700# camper all summer with it. The camper is within the limits of the Suburban but it really lowers the rear end of the suburban quite a bit. I am using a weight distribution hitch, btw. I previously towed this camper with a 01 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD but of course since it was the HD model I never had the issue with it. So, is this the way I should go or do you have a better suggestion?
