Hi! I just bought a new2007 blacktahoe lt 2 months ago and I got the 17" tires.
I have decided I don't like them and am trying to decide on which wheels to buy for my tahoe. I am a girl and have never had rims so I want something that will look nice and classy... want people to know a girl drives it if that makes any sense.
Anyway- I am having a tough time deciding on what to get because I am mostly looking at pictures of the rims and would love to see some of the ones I'm considering on an actual vehicle.
The ones I'm leaning toward are the Boss 315 or the 328 in chrome.

have you tried looking on tirerack? You can go on thier, see the prices, see the rims on your tahoe, and pick the size which you think looks the best. Thats where i got my rims from. Great company....but if you are really considering the boss rims, i personally think that the 315s would look very nice. I think that rims with lips look better in most cases.

I agree w/GMz the 315's have a better look. The problem with the 328's is that they are kinda similar to a set of polished factory 20" 5 spokes. I don't know where you're from but I'd recommend going to a Discount Tire if they have them where your at. Very knowledeable staff that will make sure you get the right size & offset for your Tahoe, they have good prices (w/ road hazard). If you decide to order online make sure you get a rim w/ a 30mm offset so that you match the factory offset. Start changing this and you'll likely run into serious rubbing issues.

MEParks, Ithink it's great that you own and drive an SUV in generaland specifically aTahoe, andthat youjumped in here to discuss things. I figure if you've got enough confidence to do those things, then youare probably big enoughtake a little humor.

My response was based onher saying "I am a girl", and "want people to know a girl drives it". And, hey, nothing says "girly car" quite like pink shoes.

I have decided to go with the boss 315's... especially after seeing the pix.
That was just what I needed to make my final decision!

 

Nice choice, just saw this blog after i just bought my boss 315 black rims for my silver yukon xl. Glad the majority went with boss 315 as well.
I had a tough decesion today but readinbg this made me realize i made the best choice too!
