anyone know which harness/pins power the sub?
i'm looking to finish off my non-nav, non-bose 2 nav upgrade with a sub in the center console. does anyone know which harness/pins actually power the sub? also for someone that has the factory sub. is there some type of enclosure that the speaker is in or is the center console itself acting as the enclosure
just to re-iterate:
my truck didn't come with nav or bose. i recently upgraded to the nav using an aftermarket amp. i want to add a sub but don't know which wires from the head unit carry the sub signal. installz.com has the pinouts but i'm unsure which wires are for the sub.

I'm looking thru the manual and it looks to me that the non-bose doesn't have a sub...
UQ3 = audio system 8 speaker
UQA = 9 speaker bose
UQ3 = audio system 8 speaker
UQA = 9 speaker bose

If you have a center console you should have factory subs inside. The factory console that looks like the ones from Tahoe /Avalanche/ Suburban.
Remove cup holder and pull up on center tray, under the tray you will rind a connector. Factory subs are in that harness.

guys...sorry if i was not clear on this. i'm reffering to the harnesses that connect to the back of the head unit and the pinouts on each. my tahoe didn't come with the bose sound or nav unit. i installed the nav with a aftermarket amp powering the speakers. i want to now add a sub so i need to know which wires coming out of the head unit carry the sub signal

Well there are 18 pages of cellular,entertainment and nav connector pages in the manual. If you can give me a connector number I might be able to narrow it down and send you a copy of the page.
Just as an FYI you guys that are shelling out $1200+ bucks for nav and tunes upgrades you could spend the small $150 bucks for the factory manuals that have very detailed schematics and wire diagrams for every system in the vehicle. www.helminc.com or for a mere $400 you can get the manuals on DVD.
EDIT
looks like they are out of the DVD, the manuals are $135 plus shipping

does this help at all? i see several references to low level audio signal but there are 4 of them total from connectors 1 and 2. why would 4 wires be needed for a single sub?

Well the only plug that has wiring for the sub is C4. The problem being, the only vehicle that uses this format or actually has wires coming from it are the Denali's. It might be possible the Caddi as well. If you have the c4 harness you could always add wiring to the plug but you will need to probablyhave the radio reprogrammed to the denali setup Y91. Another problem is going to be the audio output. Some of the units are a fixed output (Denali/Caddi) and some are a variable output. I think its going to be more of a hassle to use the sub wires. Also if you notice there are nosubwoofer settings in the radio to control the output channel anyway.You can use a line level convertor on the rear channels, or use a sub amp that has high level inputs.But if your game and willing to try this:

RE: anyone know which harness/pins power the sub?
thanks e. thats some good info. so if those c4 pins are only used by the denali/escalade, i'm wondering how the signal is getting to the subs in the regular tahoes. do you think its those low level audio wires i mentioned from harnesses 1 and 2? if so why are there 4 of them for single sub? or maybe a better question is just to ask what those pins are for.
after looking at the wiring diagram i posted i'm more puzzled than before.
there are 4 low level outputs on harness c2 alone: right rear low level +, left rear low level +, right rear low level -, left rear low level -
in c1 there is: left front low level -, front low level -
