Default RE: anyone know which harness/pins power the sub?

It appears thatthe nav unitsends a 4 channel high and low level's via plug 1/2. The bose amp sends the power to the factory sub. The bose probably gets its signal from the low level signals (F/R L/R)from the navand crosses it over at the amp and sends it to the sub. The question is are both the high and low level active at the same time? I do know that in the programming of the radio the dealer can make some type of changes in the audio outputs but i'm not sure which ones.

VanDamme....splice in a set for RCA cables into the wires for the low level LR speaker, and RR Speaker, and run them to your aftermarket amp. Providing it it has a built in crossover all should be good. Otherwise...its like e said....the amp takes the signals from the other speakers and puts out a sub output.

those wires won't be there as the vehicle was not built with the amp\sub.

That is why you should check you RPO codes in glove box. The info is for those that can use it.
