RE: Anyone know what 07 wheel offset is

ok, like the master(zx) said the stock 17's are a +31.0mm. I have 24 x 10's that are +25mm offset. Here's the trick. A +25mm will stick out past the wheel wells in the front but not on the back.We left the 25mm on the rear wheels to make them sit flushunder the fender. On the front wheels we machined them down 6mm to create a +31mm. They sit we nice. CAUTION not all wheels have enough lug seat to remove 6mm, so this will not work on all wheels. If you notice chevy's have always had the front wheels sit futher outboard than the rear.We are lowering the truck as well and they should sit right at the edge of the fender lips.We went with the295 35 24 becausewe heard that the 305's are a little too wide and can cause rubbing. I have not rubbed yet at all at stock height. We'll see when we drop 2/3. I am very impressed with the ride on the 24's as well. Also retained the TPMS which can run you about 50 bucks a piece at the dealer for new ones. You can reuse your old ones if your careful but you will need new stems. The dealer will try to tell you that you have to replace the sensors and stems but you can get just stems. Two dealers did this too me. I actually found that the caddy dealer was a little more up to date on these. The only draw back to running two offsets will be tire-rotations. I will have to dismount tires at the frickin time.

would it not have been easier (for balancing and no machining) to get all +31mm and put 1/4" spacers on the back two?

Question: Will a wheel that has an offset of 15+ stick out further than the stock 31+?

Of course, but the wheelsI have are not offered in a +31mm. "Also that would way to easy for me" as my wife would say.AlsoI dont like spacers.

RE: Anyone know what 07 wheel offset is

Hello good people. I have a 2007 Yukon XL and am about to pull the trigger on a set of Boss 313 Black Chrome 24's. Discount Tire tells me that the the offset for my truck is 40 mm in this size Boss wheel. Does that make sense? I know Boss came out with a new 330 series and that only comes in 24's for the 2007 Chevy's and the offset is 40. So I guess it makes sense but 40 seems like a lot. Please advise. Kacy
