Arnott Air Conversion Install?
Anyone got feedback on installing the conversion kit from Arnott?
CHEVROLET - Tahoe 1500 2007-2011 (4x2, 4x4) w/ Electronic Suspension
I'm considering doing it myself but want to ensure it's doable. Do you need any special tools to compress the spring or shock for install? Any special tools period? Can a guy get it done in his garage with a jack, few wrenches and patience?

Tahoe 1500 C-2545 Conversion Kit Installation
Here is a link to the Installation Manual for the Arnott Conversion Kit for the Tahoe 1500 2007-2011.

It is now also linked to the product part page on our site.
You do not need a shock compressor since all Arnott shocks come compressed and are ready to install. Beyond jack stands and a good jack you should not need any special tools. You'll want to consult your owner or shop manual for safety precautions. If you have any questions feel free to call our support team at 800-251-8993 Mon - Fri 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM ET.
One very cool thing about this conversion kit which will speed up the process is that it comes with a "Spoofer" to turn off your dash trouble light.
As you know this same kit also fits the 2007-2011 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, and GMC Yukon 1500. There may be posts about user installations for those applications on the web but I have not seen any since this is a fairly new product for Arnott. It is a very rugged kit and really should never need replacing but it comes with a lifetime warranty anyway.
