Default Arnott Air Shocks - Which Ones ???

My compressor has failed and I'm going to replace compressor and rear shocks with ones from Arnott, maybe front shocks too. Arnott sells reman or new air shocks, the reman ones plug into the electronic auto-damping system, the new Arnott replacements say they don't operate with auto damping, just fool the computer so not CEL. Which is the way to go? My first thought it to use reman so all systems remain active, but thought I'd ask for advice in case I'm better off without the auto damping system. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
