I did put it in with a different subject so I'll try it as the main part of my post. Any advice either to fix it or the best place to buy it.

Thanks.. Gary

First off I just realized I forgot to tell you which Tahoe I was working on. It is the 2000 later model with a 5.3 litre engine. Secondly I have searched and found this code might be a ground problem but the ground mentioned most of the time is under the drivers seat. I already redid that one. There are comments about another ground near the left front light which is also a radiator support. I only know that the code doesn't come on your regular OB reader and doesn't trip the check engine light. I had to have a friend with a higher end scanner check it for me. The number we got was the C0265 code already mentioned. From there we both went on the web and started searching. Knowing some of you guys are very into this car I figured I'd post it hoping for even more experience to be brought to bear.

Thanks... Gary

Generic OBD-II Chassis Codes --> C0265 - EBCM Relay Circuit

Seems like everything I find also points to grounds first....

might try searches for the EBCM Relay Circuit as there seems to be a lot of info for it then the code....
