Still don't understand how the GMS could be that much different on essentially the same vehicle. Especially lower than employee price.

BTW, my voice commands didn't work the last time I tried it this weekend coming home. Just got the voice telling me how to do it.

Default yea?

you have to set them similar to the 'voice dialing' for the bluetooth

so you have destinations like 'my house' (because 'home' is too short, lame).

Anyway, I had 'my houses' . 'dad's house' etc.

Mine would NEVER WORK. I'd always get "Navigation Help" and want to take a gun to my dash.

IF (and it's a BIG IF) it worked. It would work 100% until you shut off the car and opened the door. Then it wouldn't work again for 2-3 days...

After 6? maybe more trips to the dealer w/no progress. I filed w/the BBB. GM then mailed me a $940 check... because they are a bunch of moron's who couldn't do hi-tech if they bought a 3D-TV.

So, now I've been to the dealer at least 6 times for my bluetooth not showing the caller ID on OUTGOING calls. It used to show incoming / outgoing about 50% of the time. My iPhone shows the caller ID in or out 100% of the time.

So, hopefully they will cut me another check.

Hey GM, stop putting tech in your cars. because it FAILS.

The 2011 Ford Raptor comes as a 4 door with a 6.2L V8... and 35" tires... I want one bad, however no "My Ford Touch" that I know of... if it had that. The tahoe would be SOLD.

I'd like to thank all of you for all of your feedback about possible options on these vehicles. We take customer suggestions and complaints very seriously and work hard to eliminate those that our customers feel are unnecessary or work on those that you also feel should be worked on. I am also glad to hear about all of the options that many of you like on the vehicle as well. We are very glad to hear that you are happy with your vehicles and we hope to continue to improve our future products.

Since reading this thread I have been recalling things from my 03 Yukon that I liked and surprising are no longer on the GMT900's.

Those with 07 and up GMT900's, have you noticed when in reverse you can no longer set the mirrors to where you would like them to tilt when you are reversing. They always go to a standard position whilst in reverse.

Which genius at GM figured we would not want to have this feature continued on the GMT900's... The heck is that?

I would like to know what you guys think, regarding the Rear Heating and A/c Master Controls being on the front head liner, in front of the rear view mirror; like on the old GMT800's. I really miss having the rear controls at my finger tips. This "mimic" crap they came up with, sorry to say blows (pardon the pun).

My '07 and '10 both have the reverse "tilt" feature. It's an option in the DIC. Not sure if it's tied to the mirrors on the LTZ or not.

my 07 LT3 has the tilt down in reverse option under the DIC. Though I don't use it or see the benefit and I imagine it wears down the mirror parts very fast

Hey 73Shark, I do have the feature yes, but I miss the one functionality while in reverse; positioning each side where you would like them to tilt, and it would remember these positions. On the 07 and up, they no longer are programmable, they tilt to one position and one only.

GM should have realized not all of us are the same physical height and sit in the same seating positions. Wish they would not have done that.

I'll have to check mine as I never use it do to wear and tear and hardly ever have to parallel park. When I do, I just tilt it manually.
