Default Autoride replacement shocks: Is there a big difference if the electronic bypass is us

First, let me say that I am sure this has been addressed but didn't see a thread that answered this exactly.

I just picked up a low mileage 08 LTZ from down south and the rear shocks are starting to leak. I have looked at all of the replacements, including Suncore and Arnott. My question is whether I will notice any real difference if I use the less expensive shocks with the electronic bypass or not. Giant price difference between the two.

Thanks in advance for the responses.
