I presume that's a leak in the shock or shocks as I'm not changing the load on it. What's involved in changing out the factory shocks or am I guessing wrong?

Thanks..

Google Arnott Industries, select Chevy, 2007-2013 Tahoe, and buy the Arnott Bilstein Replacement Shocks. Well worth the money, they are built better than factory shocks and are internally adjusted. Great ride, easy to do. Jack up the rear end. Disconnect the air lines to each shock and then just take out the bolts holding the old shocks and then go from there. Easy to do.

Are you just talking about replacing the rear shocks or are you saying to replace the springs and all that?

Thanks for the reply...

Just the shocks. I opted for Arnott's on my suburban, and they are a definite win.

Well, if you want to ditch the air ride, then you have to buy the rear springs and regular shocks. If you want to just replace the air springs so your ride is always level and rides good, then just replace the air bag assisted shocks from arnott.

Joe... I guess the air lines hook right up to the new Arnott shocks and everything plays nicely with each other?

Thanks... Gary

Yes, everything plays very well together, at first the "Service Suspension System" message may come up, but will go away for good after a little driving.
