if you got this blank screen, that you weren't getting power to the camera
Thats not neccessarly true. All it really means is that there is no signal going to the radio. I'll post a wiring diagram of the circuits between the module and the camera so you can make sure you have good continuity and proper voltages going
to the camera.

Hello, all. I have a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali XL that is doing the same thing. It is definitely on based upon the first set of instructions provided here, but it is still not working. Any new updates?

I ended up replacing the camera unit and problem solved. I think because the trim piece was loose the vibration killed the camera.

Holeinone,
Did you replace it yourself, or did you take it to the dealership? If you did it yourself, where did you find the parts?

I bought it from GMPartsHouse.com then had my body shop guy put it on when he replaced the trim piece. You have to take the panel off the liftgate to get to it. Not hard to do.

When I select the menu button I don't see option for the camera. I do have a camera as I see it on the back of the suburban. We just picked up this 2007LTZ suburban yesterday, and the dealer (ford) did check into it, but could not figure it out.

Any other ideas would be great.

“in2pro” makes a great point. Would you PM your VIN, so I can look into this further for you?
