Biggest tires for 22's with out rubbing??
Subject saya it all. Anyone know what the biggest tire is for 22's without rubbing?? I've seen this come up on other threads but haven't heard any definitive answer. I know the Cadlillac tires are 285/45R/22but they are for 22x9. Aftermarket wheels seem to all be 22x9.5. I'ma virgin on wheels and tires so i don't want to make a mistake. I live in Louisiana where the roads are about the worst in the country (among other things) and need the most rubber avail. when I finally pull the trigger on some wheels. Thanks in advance!
4WD? I have an '07 4WD that I just put a set of 305/45/22 scorpion zero's on and although they rub slightly when in reverse cranking it hard they don't rub enough for me to be annoyed. 305/40's might eliminate this altogether but I like the looks of my 305/45's.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
It's a 2WD. Do you have any pics of your 305/45/22. I would love to see the look. I could probably stand a little rubbing in reverse if it looks good. Like i said earlier, the more rubber the better in LA. And Thanks for the input!

If you’re sorting out which sizes to keep on hand, I’ve found it handy to check what’s in stock before planning a run. The options linked under pneu camion poids lourd make it easier to compare tread styles and prices without bouncing between sites. Helps me figure out what’ll hold up best on rough Quebec stretches and what fits the budget without cutting corners.
