Default Binding Driver side window

Hey guys, I just replaced the water pump, tensioner, belt, tstat, cap and coolant and had the neg battery cable out. While I was putting the cable back on, it sounded like the door locks were going off and on, started it up and all was working well until I decided to roll down the driver side window.

When I push the button, it rolls down about 3 inches and then binds. If I hold the button down, it sounds like it's trying to go, but makes a quiet clicking sound. It'll roll up fine and in the short space it has to go before it binds or reaches the top, the window travels at normal speeds.

I've looked all over this forum and others, and I see lots of posts about bad switches, bad tracks/regulators or bad motors, but this doesn't seem to fall under any of that.

Do you guys have any ideas as to what might be causing something like this?

Thanks!

hard to say without knowing the year...as each gen uses a different design.
if its a 2000 new body style or newer, I pull the trim panel and inspect.
