Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

I'm not really worried about my mileage. It's not going to drop that much, and the performance pickup is worth it. If I was at highway speed I could feel the AFM turn on and off. On a downhill stretch I'd have to use more throttle to turn it off and get power if I needed it. Now it's just a nice smooth motion and the power is there when you need it.

So far the mileage is about the same, but I've done mostly city and towing.

Question

I assume this tune gets rid of the 97mph restriction/governor?

Is there a way to get rid of it without a full tune?

Also is there a way to reprogram the the fuel stats like how many gallons used and previous fuel economy stats?

He was able to change the speed limiter to max. I don't know about the fuel stats/etc. I asked him a question by emailing through his website and he was quick to respond. I'm sure he would be able to tell you.

Finally taken it on a road trip to test out the gas mileage. I got 17.1 cruising around 75mph the whole way there. On the way back I got 16.2, but I had my foot in it more because I was ready to be home.

Not bad considering. As I said before, the benefits of smoother ride and no delay on the throttle far outweigh the slight decrease in mpg.
