Default ???Blown transfer case???

So the the othe day my 1996 Surburban (1500 series, push button 4x4, 5.7L) truck, I was driving 20MPH in 4hi when suddenly a loud bang from the transfer case followed by violant shaking from the truck and all of the transfer case fluid draining out on the side of the road. havent looked at it yet but I assume its blown? any ideas or predictiions?

So local junkyard is installing a used on for $400 cash!!

Cash deal no warranty, I'll know more today when they get it out but judging by how fast the fluid leaked out I'm guessing the case itself broke

So rear u joint on front driveshaft broke, causing driveshaft to break the TC and the shift motor,

So used transfer case installed, new shifter motor, new u joints, and new speedo sensor, now the speedo won't work and its not shifting right. WTF. Getting frustrated!!

Tried 2 speedo sensors, and checked fuses. Still nothing.
