Best bet is to get an add-on like the one in Post #4.

The bluetooth system will have buttons on the steering wheel that will have what looks like a phone on them either being picked up put down for picking up or ending a call on the system.

I would be greatful if someone helps me in this matter.
Aseel,

Are you also located in Saudi Arabia? Also, have you been to your local Chevrolet dealership about the issue?

Thank you,

Elizabeth,

Sorry for being late to answer you due to some personal circumstances. Back to your question, yes I am in Saudi Arabia and Yes I contacted our local dealership (AlJomaih) with no luck. Add to that, the learning feature of the remote key is not available.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

To me, I think they are uploading the vehicle with old software or they intentionally disabled those feature to gain some more money from customers.<o></o>

Best regards,
Aseel

The fun part is that the local dealer even states that they cannot enable BT. They advised me to go to a 3rd party company to install BT communication....

Aseel,

I am taking over for Elizabeth on the forum for the time being. Unfortunately I primarily specialize in working with customers in the US. However, I would recommend you contact General Motors Customer Communication Center at (+971) 4 332 5023 for more assistance. I hope this helps. Thank you.

I contacted the guys in Dubai. They said I should install a 3rd party BT as mentioned in my last post.

Trisha,

I did reached them, they delegated my concern to Dubai. CC called me and they asked me to go to the local dealer to solve it "back to Zero stage" (they put me in a loop). I think, it will be the last time I buy a US vehicle because of their local dealers.

Thanks,

I've been trying for two years to get my 2010 Tahoe LTZ to respond to voice commands. Even simple commands like "Home" don't work. Several trips to the dealer didn't help either.

(Not in Saudi Arabia though, near the assembly plant in Arlington TX.)

I don't know if it's software or just lousy microphones (in the ceiling) that's the main problem. Nearly any command gets "Navigation Error" as the result.

Default Nav DVD

GM cut me a check for $1400 for that issue.

However, i was able to fix it on my own.

my '09 Tahoe came with NAV DVD 4.0c I believe. Nav DVD 6.0c fixed that.

all the voice tags work now and I can say "Navigation, go to, my house" and it will work!

I knew it was a software issue, so I couldn't fix it myself.

Every time before Nav 6.0c, the truck would go "Navigation Help" and I'd just say "Navigation Go To Hell"... and it would say "navigation help"

it was enough to make you want to kill someone at GM for the piece of junk they make.

But, Nav 6.0c fixed mine... what Nav DVD are you on?
