Hello. My 1995 Suburban with barn doors has the spare tire mounted inside the rear cargo area. I want more storage space thus necessitating moving the spare tire outside. I have found brackets and carriers for Jeeps and newer vehicles. I also don't want to pay for a custom bumper.

1. Is there a body-mounted carrier available to mount on the driver-side barn door?
2. Is this safe?
