Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
So I recently bought a used 2003, and am fixing up all the cosmetic stuff wrong with it. I just noticed that the bolt fell out that holds this roof console together, and the previous owner tried to glue it to the head rest. Anyone know what size and length bolt is needed to screw this thing back to the roof? I tried looking on Rock Auto, but couldn't figure out what this dome console is referred to. Thanks.
I think that takes a sheet metal screw. It has a Phillips head. Our 2005 Yukon has same console, but it hasn't been off in a decade so I can't remember if there's a clip or what. My guess is something is missing up there, why the F-Tard tried to glue it.

I just replaced mine. It's a silver sheet metal screw. #8 by 1 1/2" I got it at ace hardware for 35 cents. I put it in and it pulled the console up nice and tight
