Default Bose amp?

I have a 2007 Suburban with Bose Radio and 5 c/d changer. Does this system have an amp? If so, is it under the center console?

all radios have an amp - that is the only way it will make any sort of audible volume. and I am not aware of any stock cd changer...I assume you have the navigation system then yes the amp is under the cupholder area with the stock "sub"

Sorry, SHOULD have said, is the amp on Bose, non-nav systems, a remote amp,(e.g. not an intergral part of the radio), and if so is it under the console. ALso, can you get to the connector(s),, to check that they are tight, without removing the entire console?

BTW, this is what my radio "head unit" looks like:

ok I see - yes all of the bose systems should have the remote amp under the console. I think you can pull up the cupholder area and get to it or just pull away the console area and get to it all easily.
why do you need to check if the connectors are tight?

Yup. Read a TSB describing what my radio is doing, the dealership looked at it and said the radio is bad, replace it. I asked if they checked the connector mentioned in the TSB, and got a deer in the headlights look. The radio MAY be bad, but I want to check this "C2" connector the TSB mentioned before I spend "way too much for what you get" to replace the radio. I don't think the guys at this dealership are the sharpest tools in the shed; I live in a small rural town in central Texas-35 miles to the nearest Wall Mart type small.
Thanks for the info
Mike
