Default Bottom heat element part replacement 2001

Hi,

New to the suburban world. I have a 2001 Suburban 2500 LT trim. The bottom seat heater element is ripped. I bought the car used. Slowly fixing things on it. I have been searching online and can't seam to find a replacement element. The top element I think is fine. I can find replacement parts just fine for the top back element. Do I need to retrofit a 2003-06 heating element bottom to my existing 00-02 Back element? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

P.S. I did search the forms but didn't seem to find what I was looking for.

Anyone know? Can I use a seat heater element form 2003 and adapt it if needed?

Where did you search for the heating element you need? If you can give me the VIN number I have a source that can look up the OE GM number, even if discontinued.

Looked at Oreily Auto parts, Autozone, NAPA and others.
