In this case the painting is done. Now he is just debating which version he likes best. The discussion about paint was to determine why his one didn't match as well as he would have liked.
Post up pics of yours though. We tried to remove the rear to reveal the chrome then decided we would like to paint it. No one has shown a painted rear emblem yet.

I too thought that was the grille. HOwever, see in the listing there is a black tahoe. If you enlarge the pictures you can see they are obviously too different grilles. The one goes over the bowtie, the other has a cut out around the bowtie. I emailed them and they said it was for the one on the black Tahoe. That is the problem, to many just use a picture shoing a grille. However it isnt the grille you get! Here is another listing, same picture with the goofy guys. HOwever, is it the right one? I dont want to buy another one and not be the correct one. I wonder why flatahoe wont look at his ebay and see items won and let me know the seller.

I think this looks more like flatahoe, the guy who posted the thread that said ICCE 22's on my tahoe. He had the picture of his girlfriend in the bikini's. This looks more like his, but only his looked more chrome. I dont think this finish would fit well with all the other chrome. Looks to dull. I would like someting like this but more chrome looking. ANYONE?

i just taped off the area around the bow ties.. and painted both of mine.. There white on a white 07 tahoe..
Just make sure you primer frist..U can paint all or just the gold..
Comes out great.. I'll take some pic..

REAR EMBLEM UPDATE! I emailed the guy who sold the rear emblem on ebay. He emailed me the part number. He said it is 15824187. I will go check it out now and gmpartsdirect.com.

I saw another one on of the websites, the guy emailed me and said ebay. I then asked what user, he said I dont remember. WEll geesh, check your feedback, or items won. It cant be that damn hard to find out what the sellers ID was.

So do I have to take my emblem off to paint it? Or could I just tape off around the emblem and keep it on the tahoe and paint it? Because I really don't want to have to try and get them off and put them back on.
