Default brake and brake hose upgrade

Lots of choices out there for upgrading, but what has worked for those who have done it?
I would like to upgrade to braided SS hoses. I have found that to be tough for the back half of the vehicle. It appears the 2500/2500HD share rear hose part numbers.
The rotors have lots of choices and I am leaning to the slotted/slotted dimpled rotors front and rear.
Pads Semi-metallic or Ceramic? I occasionally haul a 32 ft trailer and do a fair amount of time in the mountains.
Thanks in advance.
