Default Brake lights not working

Ok so I have a 07 chevy tahoe 2wd 5.3 and my tail lights work but when I hit my brakes my driver side brake lights go out but my passenger side works. I replaced the brake light switch or stop light switch and replaced the bulbs and still nothing. Any idea?

Welcome from Florida. Check the socket for the bulb. I have had that problem and it was the socket.

It is possible that both sockets could be bad or the electrical plug is not making a good connection.
