Default Brake Rotors

Anybody using cross drilled and slotted rotors on their burb or hoe? I'd like some feedback on whether it's worth the purchase. I get rotors turned every time I put pads on any of my vehicles. Someone told me you don't have to do that with drilled and slotted rotors because they don't warp like oem rotors. I would imagine that they too can warp, but maybe not...?

Anything that you apply heat too can and will warp... slotted and cross drilled do 2 things, help disparate heat by providing more surface area to the air and loose some of the weight by removing extra metal...

Are they worth the extra money... I don't think so , they are more for show for our type of vehicles...

OEM rotors are cheap enough that you can replace them at pad change... turning the rotors only removes metal and makes them more prone to warping...

They do look cool thought

In2pro, makes perfect sense. Guess I was "overthinking" it. Thinking the drilling and slots were really that significant. I do like a nice looking burb, but not at the expense of safety and durability. You are correct, OEM rotors are pretty inexpensive nowadays and probably worth replacing at every pad change. Thanks
