Brake squeal...help?
Hello...2005 Tahoe is making a squealing (Scrubbing) sound from the left front tire. I've had the brake pads replaced, rotors turned and everything greased and I'm still getting this noise. The squeal only happens when you are braking from 10mph to 0.
It also happens when you don't have the brakes pressed and you are going below 10mph. In this case, there is a constant squeak. It doesn't sound like your typical brake noise. It sounds more like something is sticking and once you accelerate above 10mph it goes away. Any ideas as I'm running out of things that it could be.
Please help...thanks

Thanks for the replies. I've actually put 2 sets of ceramic brake pads on the front in the past week as the mechanic that I'm dealing with said he thought the first set was "defective."
I've been wondering if the piston in the caliper isn't sticking, somehow or if there is something else that we're missing.

They installed Wagner ceramic thermo quiet pads, I watched. Any chance it could be anything other than the pads as I was having this issue before the pads were changed.
We changed the pads, turned the rotors, etc... to get rid of the noise.
