My wife knocked the driver's side mirror backing out of the carport this morning on a 2014 Tahoe. It broke the ball that holds the mirror to the actuator motor off from the cover, and broke a section of the black plastic trim ring from the bottom (see full mirror housing picture). Really all I need is another cover for the actuator motor housing with an intact ball and that trim ring. My guess is that I may have to buy another motor. Anyone know how I go about finding these online? Part #, vendor, etc. Thanks in advance!

I'll start out with the likely hood of finding the individual parts is probably slim to none, but I won't swear it.... ( you may have to bite the bullet for a whole new mirror)
I'd would suggest GM Parts direct, they have been used by may a forum member with good results, myself included.

 

I see a listing for the 2013 but 14... I suspect they are very much the same....
You may also want to check with the dealership you bought it from, they may help you out as customer appreciation...

 

Don't overlook finding one at a salvage yard.

As a preventive measure in the future, you might have the mirrors folded in before backing out. It sounds like it is a tight spot.
