I have a 2013 Silverado 1500 Crew cab and both of the right side door handles have come off. This vehicle only has 55000 miles, has not been wrecked and rarely has a right side passenger. Door handles just came off when opening from outside.

 

Has anyone else had this problem? The dealer wants $300 per door to fix it.

 

is it a paint to match door handle? painting is a big expense. see if they have a chrome handle set of 4 and compare pricing....if you like chrome

 

It has Crome plated plastic handles.

 

they may have quoted paint to match handles. seems expensive for outer handles. what is the cost of the parts?
