Removing tint is not a fun job. But good luck. Hope you can find one on ebay or Craig's List.

Default Why not just remove the clear window

and tell your insurance company that your window got broken? Just don't even bring up the fact that your neighbor bought you the wrong window....it's none of their business.

while I think insurance scams are unethical, your window was in-fact broken accidentally by someone else. It should be covered, and most autoglass companies will replace windows with no deductible (windshields at least).

Like Shark said...just pay the deductible, if any, and get the correct part. You might get enough out of the clear window from an ebay sale to pay your deductible.
