Burnin' Oil 2009 5.3 6 quarts IN, 3 come out.
Wife says: Oil Life Monitor said 18%, so I changed the oil in the Tahoe. 136,000 miles.
Amazing. You put 6 quarts IN, and get about 3 out. The 2005 Mazda with 190,000 on it: you get over 5 quarts out. (6 in).
FORD FTW. The 5.3s been doing this for years. I thought not towing this season would reduce oil burn (it hasn't).
Fingers crossed that she takes delivery of her Model 3 by April, which means.. THIS WAS MY LAST OIL CHANGE FOR THE TAHOE
Cuz I'm happy! clap along.. if you hate oil covered arms... because I'm happy... clap along if you hate buying gas all the time..
Also the cruise control died last week... going to replace the brake pedal switch, hopefully that fixes it. Can't live w/out cruise.
