Default A/C on 2003 Suburban

2003 Suburban with a front/rear A/C system. The front has stopped blowing any cold air but the rear seems to work fine. When you first turn the A/C on it seems to be cool for a moment but then feels like outside temp air. Moving the sliders on the front control from cold to heat seems to change temp correctly. Would this be a compressor issue? Freon level is ok, its had a slow leak that I've been unable to find but never had any issues cooling. Always thought the leak might be inside the compressor since I could not find it in the lines.

Thank you for any help.

Actually, the only way to tell if your R134a level is OK is to have a shop with correct equipment pull out the R134a and WEIGH it. I suspect that your refrigerant is low, take to a shop.

NEVER ADD ANY SEALERS OR REFRIGERANT CONTAINING SEALER !!!
