Default A/C capacity

Hi all. How much Freon does an 00 Burban 1500 take with the rear lines blocked off? It won't hold a vacuum, and I'm guessing it's the rear lines, or the unit itself in the back.
I hate to do it, but I don't have the time or money for the line kit, or to tear into it in the back. It's weird, at first the gauge went to -25 rather quickly, but took some time to reach
-28. Then when my buddy shut his machine off, it went to 0 within a few seconds. Anyway, I'm blocking the lines off, cause my hunch tells me it's the rear. I hate to do it, but
it is what it is till they decide to finally get people's refunds out. We're gonna put the dye in in case it is the front, then hopefully I can find it. Thanks in advance.
