A/C light blinks and then turns off
2007 Chevy impala. No matter the temp outside when i press the A/c button it flashes then turns off with no a/c coming out. Thought it needed to be recharged but it wont charge if it wont stay on.

the system may set a body code fault. this may give you a starting point as to why the a/c request is being disabled....so check for body codes....a full function scan tool is needed...a code reader only reads powertrain codes.
