Mines a 2007 Suburban and I have the same issue. 2 months ago the blower stopped working so I replaced the resistor. Seemed to work fine for 2 months. Then I read if you still keep having the problems which mine is out again and the fan blower is asking for too much power and the resistors will blow again. So I change out the fan and the resistor and nothing works now. At any speed. No blown fuses. May be relays but doubt it. Thoughts?

Default Same issues

I'm having the same issues on my 2010 Tahoe. Really need some advice. I changed the blower motor that didn't work. So I took it back to the store and bought the resistor. That didn't work either so I took that back and got my money back. Can somebody please help.

Did you check the HVAC BLWR and HVAC BATT fuses in the under the hood fuse block?
Do you have a test meter or test light to do some power checking?
With the ignition switch ON.
On the resistor module connector (plugged in)...
Check for 12V power between pins 6(red) and 5(black). If yes, HVAC BLWR fuse and module ground are OK.
With fan selector on HIGH...
Check for 12V power between pins 1(purple) and 2(black). If yes, blower should be running. Check connections/wiring to blower motor.
Let us know what you find.

Default Im having darn near the same problem.

i have the 2006 suburban 1500lt and mine is doing basically the same thing only my front air is still blowing cold and strong. My rear ac is the one that is given me grief. When it first started it wouldnt come on when we turned the front controls on and was able to somehow get it to come on by either using the front controls or the back controls the one that is attached to the front center console. Like 2 days after this started we became unable to get the rear ac to do anything. Weve tried fuses, charging it, we figure it has something to do with the controls themselves but really are clueless. Please help. My kids are suffering it is so hot in the backseat and i cant begin to imagine sitting in 3rd row seating.

Savannah - do you mean that the blower fan in the rear is not blowing at all? If so, that would be the first thing to check out, to see if that's getting positive voltage when it should. If so, then likely bad blower fan for the rear.

My 2002 Tahoe is having the exact same issue. I have replaced the blower motor and the speed resistor. It did NOT fix my issue. any other ideas would be greatly appreciate it. All I can think of now is the wire harness.

There are a lot of different problems happening in this thread, so please describe your symptoms in detail, including speeds, modes, temperatures, vents that work/don't work etc.

front ac not doing anything at all but the rear works correctly. But it does pull air from outside in the front, I replaced the blower and the resistor.

first step in electrical problems is to check fuses

Please elaborate. You mean you feel air coming through the vents while the vehicle is moving?
